The all-new Subaru WRX AWD tS Spec B takes braking performance to the next level, delivering confident stopping power and enhanced control when it matters most. Engineered for performance enthusiasts, it's equipped with a high-performance Brembo braking system designed to complement the tS Spec B's dynamic capabilities.

At the front, powerful gold-painted Brembo 6-piston calipers grip ventilated and drilled brake discs, maximising heat dissipation and reducing brake fade under demanding conditions. At the rear, 2-piston Brembo calipers work in tandem to provide balanced, consistent braking performance across all four wheels.

Unrivalled driver control is delivered via Subaru's distinctive 3-mode Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive)* and Drive Mode Select*, available on selected variants. Available on Subaru WRX Sportswagon AWD and selected Subaru WRX Sedan variants, the Subaru Performance Transmission combines an 8-speed Sport Lineartronic® transmission with Variable Torque Distribution and Sports Shifting Control. The thoughtfully positioned A-pillars and refined door mirror placement help improve visibility in traditionally obstructed areas, such as blind spots around the A-pillar and C-pillar. The Subaru WRX features sleek, full LED headlights as standard across all variants. Their compact housings and integrated C-shaped daytime running lights give the front end a sharp, modern look. A blacked-out housing with a hexagonal motif adds to the sporty and aggressive design language.

Steering Responsive Headlights (SRH) are standard, providing improved visibility around corners, while High Beam Assist (HBA) automatically adjusts between high and low beams depending on traffic conditions.

Subaru's Driver Monitoring System *

Now standard across the entire Subaru WRX range, Subaru's Driver Monitoring System* (DMS) helps tackle driver distraction and fatigue by constantly monitoring the driver's attention. Using near infrared LEDs and a dedicated camera, DMS detects signs of drowsiness or inattention, issuing an alert to help the driver stay focused on the road.

This intelligent system also uses facial recognition to identify up to five separate drivers and automatically adjusts key cabin settings for a personalised experience. Depending on the variant, DMS can automatically recall preferences for:

Subaru Global Platform

Subaru WRX is underpinned by the carefully engineered body structure and Subaru Global Platform, including the ring-shaped passenger safety cell that cocoons occupants and has been designed to absorb and direct the impact of a collision around the cabin, rather than through it. While the chassis structure has been engineered to include crushable zones, absorbing collision energy to effectively protect passengers.

While Subaru can't control every variable on the road, the inclusion of eight SRS* airbags in the Subaru WRX, including the front passenger seat cushion airbag, can help reduce the possibility of serious injury in the event of a serious accident.
