Driver Monitoring System4

Using the facial recognition capabilities of the Driver Monitoring System, the Forester identifies the driver as they take their seat – then can automatically adjust cabin settings to that driver’s pre-programmed preferences. The individual preferences of up to five drivers can be stored, allowing the Multi-Function Display, instrument settings and climate control to be restored to the driver’s last setting. While the driver’s seat and door mirror positions are moved to the driver’s personal settings on the 2.5i Premium AWD and 2.5i-S AWD variants.
